Product Manager | Deloitte
Led the development and launch of a B2B SaaS product that manages physical assets from an idea to R1. We achieved $1M in sales and doubled paid customers in the following 6 months by evangelizing the product with industry experts and C-level executives. To help products follow leading industry practices, I developed a quick tool called the Product HealthCheck to help teams baseline and improve their current product management practices against a custom maturity framework. Process maturity increased by 70% with an overall rating of 4.5/5. These initiatives have been incredibly rewarding, and I'm proud of what we've accomplished.

Led QA duties on various projects, including developing automation scripts to improve testing efficiencies. It was a challenging but rewarding experience that allowed me to showcase my skills and make a positive impact on the team's success. I also participated in a change management working group that defined our Division's vision, and I'm proud to have been a part of the process that inspired me to continue finding ways to make a positive impact in everything that I do.

DevOps Engineer | IBM Corp
Played a pivotal role in enhancing the security and operational efficiency of high-traffic cloud services. Firstly, I designed and seamlessly integrated security testing into the continuous delivery/continuous integration (CD/CI) pipeline. As a result, we witnessed a remarkable 25% decrease in the service deployment timeframe. This reduction not only allowed for more efficient resource allocation to improve support but also significantly enhanced the coverage of Pen Testing. Additionally, I collaborated closely with the InfraOps team to implement process improvements for IBM's Database-as-a-service offering. Our joint efforts led to a remarkable 50% reduction in the spin-up time for new accounts. We achieved this while upholding the existing quality and efficiency standards, thereby streamlining the onboarding process and contributing to overall operational excellence.

Spearheaded a transformative shift in our product development methodology, transitioning from a traditional waterfall approach to Agile Scrum. This strategic decision yielded remarkable outcomes, including a significant 20% increase in revenue. The adoption of Agile Scrum brought about enhanced transparency, improved product quality, and a remarkable four-fold decrease in time to market. I also took the initiative to conduct informative sessions throughout Ciena, sharing our experience with the product development methodology transition and its numerous benefits. Furthermore, I developed and successfully implemented key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product quality more effectively and enable accurate predictions of product readiness. These KPIs were subsequently adopted across all projects in our portfolio, establishing a standardized approach to measuring and ensuring product quality across the organization.
